Carolyn will provide a presentation about the Exchange, the reasons why it has established a base in the island, reasons for listing, types of listing, recent trends in new listings and plans for the future.
The International Stock Exchange (TISE) provides a responsive and innovative listing facility for international companies to raise capital from investors based around the globe. It is a regulated marketplace, with globally recognisable clients and a growing product range, from within the European time zone but outside the EU. Headquartered in Guernsey and with offices in the Isle of Man and Jersey, TISE offers a convenient and cost-effective service for listing a wide range of products, including: Trading companies, Specialist debt, Investment vehicles, Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) and Extractive industries. With a business established in 1998, the Exchange now has more than 2,000 listed securities on its Official List with a total market capitalisation of more than £300 billion.
Carolyn Gelling is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, a Chartered Wealth Manager and has completed the Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction.
This seminar is with coffee and registration from 12 noon for a prompt 12.30 pm start. It is anticipated that this session will last approximately one hour.
